Legendary fruit-smashing comedian Gallagher has suffered a heart attack early this morning, September 11th, 2018, according to inside sources.
Those same sources have stated he will postpone the next three weeks of performances due to health issues, including his only scheduled appearance for September at The Moxi Theater in Greeley, Colorado September 16th. The 72-year-old performer is currently in recovery at a Los Angeles hospital. At the of time of this article, his recovery status is unknown.
The North Carolina native suffered a previous heart attack on stage in Minnesota during a performance in 2011, later announcing a farewell tour in 2014. Gallagher’s current performance schedule has not been billed as a final tour.
